Carrot & Orange Juice

Ingredients :
  • 2 carrots (peeled, cut into small chunks)
  • 2 oranges (peeled,deseeded)
  • 300ml water
  • 2 tbsps honey
Directions :
  1. Place the carrots and oranges into a blender. Add water to blend until smooth. Strain the juice to remove the vegetable and fruit residue. Pour the juice into a glass.
  2. Add honey to enhance flavour, and serve.

Chrysanthemum Jasmine Reduced Pressure Tea (甘菊茉莉花減壓茶)

Ingredients :
  • 50 gm chrysanthemum (甘菊50克)
  • 50 gm jasmine (茉莉花50克)
Directions :
  1. Soak chrysanthemum and jasmine in hot boiling water for 30 minutes. (將甘菊和茉莉花用熱開水浸泡30秒左右)
  2. Pour into cup or teapot. Ready to serve. (最后將甘菊和茉莉花茶倒入杯中或壺中即可飲用)

Pear & Spinach Juice

Ingredients :
  • 60g spinach (cut into segments)
  • 11/2 pears (peeled, deseeded, cut into small pieces)
  • 30g honey
  • 90ml water
Directions :
  1. Place the spinach and pear into a blender. Add water to blend until smooth. Strain the juice to remove the vegetable and fruit residue. Pour the juice into a glass.
  2. Add honey to add flavour, and serve.

Red Dates Wolfberries (Kei Chee) Health Tea (紅棗枸杞養生茶)

Ingredients :
  • 10 gms red dates (紅棗10克)
  • 5 gms wolfberries (kei chee) (枸杞5克)
  • 1 soupspoons honey (蜂蜜)
Directions :
  1. Rinse red dates and wolfberries with water to wash off the dust or dirt. (將紅棗和枸杞用清水洗淨備用)
  2. Put the red dates and wolfberries into a cup of hot boiling water. Cover it for 15 minutes. (將紅棗和枸杞放入杯中,沖入熱開水,浸泡約15分鐘左右)
  3. Cooling and add in honey. Ready to serve. (待放涼至溫度60度左右時,根據個人喜好加入蜂蜜后即可飲用)

Pinkish Fruit Delight

Ingredients :
  • 1 dragon fruit (peeled, cut into chunks)
  • 2 bananas (peeled, sliced)
  • 300ml warm water
  • 1 1/2 tbsps honey
Directions :
  1. Place the dragon fruits and bananas into a blender. Add warm water to blend until the banana and dragon fruit mixture is mushed. Pour the juice into a glass.
  2. Add honey to enhance flavour, and serve.

Ginger Martini

Ingredients :
  • Ice
  • 3 ounces vodka, any flavor
  • 1/2 to 1 ounce ginger syrup, recipe follows
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Twist of lemon or lime
Ginger Syrup:
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh ginger with peel, about 8 ounces
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
Directions :
  1. Fill a cocktail shaker or small pitcher with ice. Add the vodka, ginger syrup, and lime juice. Cover and shake vigorously, or stir, until combined and chilled, about 30 seconds. (In general, by the time the shaker mists up the drink is ready.) Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add twist and serve.
  2. Remove the outer peel of the lemon with a vegetable peeler, taking care not to include too much of the bitter white pith. Finely chop the lemon peel and ginger in a food processor.
  3. Transfer the lemon-ginger mixture to a medium saucepan, add the sugar and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and cool. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Icy Watermelon Cooler

Ingredients :

  • 750ml watermelon juice
  • 250ml ice-cream soda
  • Lemon slices
  • Lots of crushed ice
  • Some mint leaves

Directions :

  1. Mix watermelon juice with crushed ice and mint leaves, then top up with soda. Give the lemon a twist and drop it into individual glasses.
  2. Garnish with a triangular slice of watermelon. Make a small slit and insert it into the rim of the glass. A lovely drink with a twist!

Soy Bean Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1kg white soy beans
  • 1 litres water
  • 2 cakes palm sugar
  • 500g white sugar
Directions:
  1. Soak soy beans overnight in water.
  2. Peel skin and drain.
  3. Blend soy beans with 2 litres of water, little by little.
  4. Strain liquid.
  5. Heat liquid on slow fire & remove before liquid begins to boil.
  6. Melt palm sugar with a little water over low heat and set aside.
  7. Also add a little water and melt white sugar to form a thick syrup.
To Serve:

  • Chill soy bean milk
  • Serve dark or white sugar
  • Spoon a little of preferred syrup into soy bean milk
  • Stir well
  • Optional: may also be served hot

Apple Martini

Ingredients :
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz green-apple shnapps

Directions :

  1. Pour the ingredients into a shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Vodka Lemon Sorbet

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • grated lemon zest
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions :

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and water until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the lemon zest; stir until mixture comes to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Place a fine strainer over a large bowl and pour syrup mixture through (straining out any zest).
  4. Add lemon juice and vodka to the strained syrup mixture; stir until thoroughly blended.
  5. Cover and refreeze until ready to serve.
Ice Cream Maker Method :

  • Transfer mixture to ice cream maker, process according to manufacturer's instructions.
Freezer Method :
  • Pour into a container, cover and place mixture in the freezer. When it is semi-solid, mash it up with a fork and refreeze again. When frozen place in a food processor or blender and process until smooth.

Iced Green Apple Tea

Ingredients :
  • 4 bags green tea
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • 2 cups apple cider or apple juice, chilled
Directions :
  1. Place the tea bags in a pitcher and cover with the boiling water; allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  2. Discard used tea bags.
  3. Stir in the honey (if using), until dissolved.
  4. Stir in the apple cider or juice.
  5. Chill tea, or serve over ice, garnished with fruit slices and mint, if desired.

Florida Cocktail

Ingredients :
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes syrup
Directions :
  1. Shake in a cocktail shaker and strain into a tall highball glass. Top with some club soda to add a sprits.

Lemon Ginger Iced Green Tea

Ingredients :
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup Splenda low-calorie sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 6 green tea bags
  • 4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Directions :
  1. Add water, Splenda, ground ginger, and lemon peel to medium saucepan and bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to where it sustains a gentle boil and cook for about 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Steep this tea mixture for 10 minutes, stirring or dunking the bags often.
  2. Remove tea bags and stir lemon juice into the tea liquid. Cover and refrigerator for up to 1 to 2 weeks.
  3. To make a cup of iced tea, pour 1/4 cup of the concentrated tea mixture into a tall glass and stir in 3/4 cup of sparkling or seltzer water or club soda. Add ice cubes and enjoy!

Long Island Iced Tea

Ingredients :
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 oz light rum
  • 1/2 oz gin
  • 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz sour mix cola
  • lemon wedge for garnish

Directions :

  1. Pour the spirits and sour mix into a collins glass with ice.
  2. Stir well or shake.
  3. Top the glass off with cola.
  4. Garnish with the lemon wedge.
